What are some differences between Pompeii and Herculaneum?

Pompeii is a much larger area with houses whose roofs where mostly totally destroyed in the eruption of AD79.
Herculaneum has more rooves still in tact and some mosaics on the inside of the homes. It gives you a better feel of what life must have been like to live in a roman town.
